The king of fruits i.e Mangoes are of different
varieties and are named accordingly. The best variety - The
Alphonso - comes from different places .. namely: 1) The Konkan
belt of the western India in places situated at Devgadh and
Ratnagiri. 2) Valsad in Gujarat. Mangoes grown in each of
these places have their own taste and their own time to ripen.The
availability of one starts when the other disappears from
the market.
